The position of Project Engineer

The project engineer is one of the key roles in our projects where you work closely with project management in a broad role with the greatest focus on project economics. This involves preparing production calculations, continuously working with cost control, and compiling final cost forecasts. To succeed in this, you need to be well-versed in applicable contract terms and be able to communicate well with both colleagues and clients and suppliers.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage the project's finances and forecasts, both internally and with clients.
• Chair financial meetings and ensure documentation.
• Follow up on KPIs and action plans related to the project's goals.
• Develop and optimize methods for financial management.
• Identify efficiencies and contribute ideas.

As a person, you have a strong commitment to order and clarity and enjoy working with finances. You should have a good ability to overview the whole but also the ability to analyze details when necessary. You thrive both in team settings close to production and independently. We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education relevant to the position, such as in finance or construction technology. Furthermore, you have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Experience in financial work in a project environment.
• Knowledge of calculation/cost control programs, such as MAP.

Since the position involves travel to our projects, it is a requirement that you have a B driver's license.

Additional information

The position is a permanent employment with a start date according to agreement, based in Uppsala. The position requires a B driver's license.
