At Äventyrsskolan, we are now seeking dedicated and empathetic teaching assistants for our school in Djursholm. With us, you will work with students who have autism and intellectual disabilities. Our goal is to create a safe, stimulating, and developmental environment where every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Who we are looking for:

• You are a warm, positive person with a genuine interest in working with children and young people with special needs.

• You have a pedagogical education as a teaching assistant, childcare worker, or equivalent. Experience with TBA knowledge or clear pedagogical methods is an advantage, as well as experience working with our target group.

• You are a team player who enjoys working in collaboration with teachers, supervisors, and other assistants to meet each student's individual needs.

• You see solutions where others see problems and never give up when it comes to helping students develop and reach their goals.

• You have the ability to meet everyone with respect and build trust, both among students and colleagues.

• You can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.

Your tasks will include:

• Assisting students with their schoolwork and participating in all activities such as swimming, sports, and skating.

• Supporting students during short-term supervision (KTT) and documenting in social journals.

• Providing daily care and promoting their personal development by trying new activities and encouraging them to push their boundaries.

• Using positive feedback and encouragement in your daily work, with both students and colleagues.

• Working hours: 07:30-17:00

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
