Job Responsibilities

The work involves conducting teaching within the field of political science. The teaching covered by the positions includes the following:

• Political Science I, II, and III
• Political Science I, II, and III
• Bachelor's Program in Global Development
• Subject Teacher Program with a focus on Social Studies

Eligibility Requirements

Eligible for employment as a university lecturer is someone who has demonstrated pedagogical skill and has obtained a doctoral degree in political science or has equivalent scientific competence.

All teaching positions at Stockholm University require that the applicant has the ability to collaborate and is otherwise suitable to fulfill the job responsibilities.

As the teaching is conducted in both Swedish and English, the applicant must have a very good command of both languages, both orally and in writing.

Assessment Criteria

Particular and equal importance is placed on scientific and pedagogical skills, especially within the areas covered by the teaching. Administrative ability and the ability to collaborate with the surrounding community are also valued.

Meritorious is higher education pedagogical training of at least 15 higher education credits or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways. Experience in teaching within the areas covered by the positions is also meritorious.

About the Employment

The position is part-time at 65 percent and is temporary until 2026-07-31. Start date as soon as possible.
