At Åbyskolan, we work in teams, both by grade and in mixed-age groups, with a holistic perspective on the student's entire school day.

We are about 55 staff members working towards the students' goal fulfillment and well-being based on an inclusive and health-promoting approach.

Your mission:

You will be part of the after-school program team and be responsible for planning and conducting art lessons for students in grades 4–6, as well as participating in school collaboration for the same grades. In the afternoons, you will work in the Club/Open activity, both during regular school days and during school holidays.

Working hours are according to schedule (varying between 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Fridays rotating) but may need to be adjusted based on the needs of the operation.

What we are looking for in you

We are looking for someone who wants to help develop our after-school activities. You are a qualified teacher for after-school programs with a focus on art and design. You are engaged, have thoughts and ideas about how a good operation should function, and have the ability to realize your ideas. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working with your colleagues. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

• You have the ability to meet students individually and spread a positive atmosphere around you.
• You can create trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• You can work both independently and together with others.
• You are a clear leader both as an art teacher and as a colleague in the after-school program/Club.
• You have an eye for what students and the operation need in terms of support.
