About the Position

In the role of Junior Maintenance Engineer in power engineering, you will be part of AFRY's dynamic team working towards Forsmark. You will:

• Draft test programs and act as a test leader/coordinator in projects
• Perform physical testing and coordinate technicians
• Participate in developing projects within power engineering, including testing and instrument maintenance before reactor overhauls

It is strongly meritorious if you have knowledge or experience with relay protection or have equivalent competencies. In the long run, there is an opportunity to advance to test leader.

Your Profile

To thrive in this role, you need to be someone who enjoys order and structure, as the work requires accuracy and precision. At the same time, you are communicative and collaborative, as you will work closely with both colleagues and technicians in various projects. We also believe that you are curious and have a strong desire to learn new things – there are plenty of opportunities to develop and grow here.

You have:

• Post-secondary education in power engineering, electrical engineering, energy, or equivalent
• Practical experience as an operations technician, electrician, or similar (e.g., summer jobs)
• Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing
• Driver's license B

Meritorious: Knowledge of relay protection and courses in nuclear power.
