Uppsala Parish

The Church of Sweden Uppsala consists of six urban parishes working together, and is also responsible for Uppsala cemeteries.

Five of the parishes formed Uppsala Parish in 2014 with a common board and management. Together, we aim to be the local church for 180,000 residents of Uppsala.

Preserve Cultural Heritage and Drive Development

As a technical manager, you will be a key person in the work of preserving and developing our culturally historic buildings. You will be responsible for planning, preventing, and procuring services, maintenance, and repairs of technical facilities – always with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. You will perform simpler repairs and inspections while leading projects and preparing decision-making materials for future solutions.

Your Responsibilities

Manage and optimize technical systems
Plan and drive projects in the technical area
Be responsible for control technology and regulatory requirements (e.g., fire safety work)
Collaborate with colleagues and external suppliers
Actively contribute to energy optimization and sustainable property management

We are looking for someone who

Has a technical management education or equivalent higher education
Has several years of experience in technical management and procurement
Is familiar with customer and contractor contacts and has good knowledge of property technology and property law
Has a B driver's license

We would like you to have experience with culturally historic buildings.
