About the position

At Trädgårdsanläggare Hallblom AB, we are now seeking a person with GIS competence for on-demand assignments. The role involves helping us create maps, materials, and visual content related to our projects in land, garden, and maintenance.

We work with everything from cultural heritage environments and municipal areas to properties, schools, housing associations, and private gardens – and clear cartographic materials are an important part of planning, procurement, operations, and documentation.

The work can often be performed remotely, but sometimes you may need to be on-site in Uppsala.

Responsibilities

• Creating maps and map appendices for projects, agreements, and documentation
• Marking trees, lighting points, work areas, risk zones, etc.
• Producing overview maps for procurement and planning
• Updating existing maps after work is completed
• Creating clear cartographic materials for operational walks and maintenance areas
• Structuring and naming map files and documenting where they are saved

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in GIS and map production (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS, or similar)
• Is used to working independently and delivering clear results
• Is meticulous and has a good sense of layout and clarity
• Communicates easily and understands the needs of different types of projects
• Ideally has experience from construction/land/garden – but this is not a requirement

Employment type

Intermittent employment as needed. The employment means that work is offered as needed and that each work occasion constitutes a separate employment instance.

Location

Uppsala with the possibility of remote work.
