About the workplace
The Labor Market Department coordinates and implements labor market policy measures for people who are far from the labor market.
Our main mission is to work through various initiatives to help our residents who receive social assistance to approach the regular labor market and become self-sufficient.
We are looking for someone who wants to help start a completely new operation at the city hall in the role of job coach. The position is part of a new initiative where you will have the opportunity to develop and influence the design of the operation.
Job responsibilities
As a job coach with us, you will guide, mentor, and coach our participants in their daily work tasks as well as in their path towards employment, studies, or other proper support. The assignment involves good collaboration with managers and employees in the municipality's operations. With a solution-oriented approach, you create good conditions and new opportunities for our target group.
You will primarily coach participants in various service tasks, which also include food handling, preparation, and baking. You will participate in the practical work to teach the participants the different work steps and maintain a high level of service.
You enjoy working with people and seeing their potential and development while also liking to deliver quality that is appreciated by customers.
In our unit, we work in teams, which also means that you will temporarily coach participants at other workplaces when the need arises.
Who are we looking for
In all your contacts, you have a pedagogical, respectful, and professional approach. Ability to work purposefully and be persistent throughout the process. With us, tasks and priorities can change at short notice, which means you need to be flexible and self-driven in your work.
Qualifications
- At least a high school diploma
- Education in restaurant and food management.
- Education in HACCP.
- Experience working with forward-looking initiatives for people who are far from the labor market.
- Computer skills and ability to handle MS Office.
- Have a driver's license and access to a car.
Meritorious
- Knowledge of purchasing and basic financial reporting
- Experience working with people who need adjustments in working life due to, for example, disabilities, addiction issues, or language difficulties.
- Experience in leadership or have worked as a team leader/job coach
Other
Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis. Start date is by agreement.

For positions that involve direct and regular contact with children and young people, as well as for operations within LSS, care and nursing, health care, psychiatric care, and addiction treatment, a valid extract from the police criminal record must be presented or submitted before employment.
