Job Description

We are looking for someone who wants to work in a wonderful and close-knit team where you will be well taken care of as a new colleague. You will work in a development-focused and eventful environment and become part of a team where collaboration and engagement are highly valued. You will have the opportunity to work and learn a broad spectrum within healthcare as the ward has a varied patient group in terms of age, diagnoses, and background.

Your work primarily involves being close to the patient and meeting individual and specific care and rehabilitation needs. In dialogue with the patient and their relatives, you provide support and guidance to enable optimal participation in care and treatment. Your tasks include assisting the patient with basic care, sample collection, and monitoring vital parameters.

We have our own postoperative unit where newly operated patients come directly from surgery. The ward also includes NIMA, an intermediate care unit. After a period of work in the care ward, an individual assessment will be made regarding when rotation can begin to the neurosurgery postop and NIMA. There, you will have the opportunity for further professional development by working with continuous high-tech monitoring of newly operated patients.

Work Group

You will work closely with other professionals; nurses, doctors, social workers, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. In the ward, there are experienced specialist nurses (SPINK) who provide support in more complex patient cases.

About You

Whether you are newly graduated or experienced, we see that you are meticulous, responsible, and have the patient's best interest in focus.

You enjoy collaborating, are genuine in your approach, and contribute to a positive atmosphere in the team. We value curiosity and the desire to learn. As a person, you adapt easily to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. Great importance is placed on personal suitability and that you can keep time and follow applicable routines and guidelines. Since you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We also welcome multilingual candidates.

You are described by previous colleagues as engaged and attentive. Furthermore, you are proactive, and your working style is characterized by getting things done. You should appreciate variety and be flexible. You work independently with a strong sense of responsibility while enjoying being part of a multidisciplinary team where all professional categories learn from each other. You have an interest in development as the ward works with continuous improvement efforts. You should have a genuine interest in helping people.
