We are looking for a nurse for the arrhythmia lab at the Seldingerenheten, Cardiology Clinic, University Hospital in Linköping.

At our cardiology clinic, we provide cutting-edge cardiac care with both brain and heart. We are part of the Heart Center (HC) and offer highly specialized care to the entire southeastern healthcare region. Our work spans several units: Seldingerenheten (intervention), cardiac intensive care, acute care department, elective unit, and outpatient clinic, all with a common goal of providing the best possible care for every heart patient.

We are now looking for someone who wants to help drive our operations forward as a nurse in the arrhythmia lab, a high-tech and educational environment where teamwork and patient focus are at the center.

Job Description

At the arrhythmia lab, you will work in a specialized team performing pacemaker surgeries and various types of cardiac ablations depending on arrhythmia issues. Here you will have an active role, including as an assisting sterile-dressed nurse, and you will be involved in the entire care chain surrounding the patient. The work is varied, technical, and stimulating, perfect for those who want to develop in their profession and contribute their knowledge in an engaged team. We work with one patient at a time, which creates a calm and focused work environment where you really have the opportunity to be present, provide high-quality care, and build a trusting relationship with the patient.

To ensure competence and experience exchange, we work with rotation between our various operations, outpatient and inpatient care; how that rotation will look for you will be agreed upon together.

Work Group

The work group consists of nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors who all work in interdisciplinary teams around the patient. Within the group, there is good collaboration and cohesion.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse with an interest in cardiac care. If you have previous experience in cardiology, interventional work, or surgical work, we consider it an advantage.

You thrive in an interdisciplinary team where the patient is always the focus, and you contribute with your security, curiosity, empathetic ability, and your commitment to working with high quality. To communicate effectively with both colleagues and patients, you must have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
