The position is a summer temporary job, so we hope you are available to work between weeks 25-33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

Working as a guard is perfect for you who enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a guard at our office in Gothenburg, you will become part of a close-knit team. The length of shifts varies, but is often 12-hour shifts either day or night. The schedule also includes work on weekends.

As a patrolling guard, you are responsible for carrying out surveillance for several clients during your shift. You will travel between clients by car and perform various types of checks, including area surveillance, patrolling inside premises, alarm connections, and closures for clients. In this role, it is important to document your work and any deviations you encounter. The work is independent and often feels free, but with great responsibility. The role of a patrolling guard suits you if you want a job where you can move around. The working hours are mainly at night.

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B

Preferred if you

• have worked with similar tasks before
• Background in the service industry
• have a civilian or military security guard training
• Trained guard

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
