We work with implementation plans and risk assessments. We focus on individualizing support for residents, creating participation, and working purposefully based on residents' wishes and needs. A prerequisite for ensuring good living conditions is having a good knowledge of the residents. Within the organization, it is important to have competence regarding people in need of special support and service as well as disabilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a support assistant, you will be part of a team that provides pedagogical support and care to promote the users' abilities and independence. Your tasks will involve working closely with the users and supporting them in their daily lives.

Your tasks will include:

• Personal care and support in daily activities.
• Health and medical-related tasks according to delegation from licensed personnel.
• Support during leisure activities and interests.
• Support and execution of household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc.

As a support assistant, you will follow our common goals and implementation plans and document in our systems. Your work will involve collaborating with colleagues, partners, users, relatives, or other important people for the users. As a support assistant with us, your tasks will consist of building a trusting relationship with the users, and with respect for their right to self-determination and integrity, support them in the areas of their lives that they find difficult to manage on their own.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Education as a support assistant or nursing assistant, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Several years of experience working with people with disabilities and autism and/or experience working in a group home under LSS.
• Experience working with documentation, for example in Medvind.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
• It is advantageous if you have training in special pedagogy 1 and 2.

In the role of support assistant, you understand the importance of being secure towards the users and building a trusting relationship with them. You are stable in uncertain situations. You take responsibility, are secure and stable in challenging situations, and spread safety around you. You work in a structured and independent manner, always according to a clear process, and have the ability to find solutions to problems that may arise.
