We are looking for a temporary therapist for Open Care in Solna City as one of our colleagues is going on parental leave! The position focuses on treatment for ages 0-20.

About the workplace

The Child and Youth Unit is responsible for authority exercises and interventions aimed at children aged 0–20 and their families. The unit is divided into seven groups: reception group, investigation group for children and youth, placement group, a group consisting of network teams, field assistants, and school social teams, Open Care Mini Maria, and family law.

What does the job entail?

The Open Care of the Child and Youth Unit, including Mini Maria, consists of ten therapists and a section manager. You will be part of an engaged and experienced team that wants to continue developing work with a focus on systemic thinking.

The assignment involves providing needs-based open care interventions to children and youth and their families, as well as advice and support without needs assessment. The work may take place in the family's home environment, in a neutral location, or in our premises. The open care interventions we work with include FFT (Functional Family Therapy), Safer Children, and RePulse.

We strive for a 0–20 perspective, which means you may work with both younger and older children and their families.

Who are we looking for?

You who are applying have a degree in social work or another higher education with a social focus.

To succeed in the role, we also see that you have:

• Experience in social work
• Experience in therapeutic work with children, youth, and families
• Experience and knowledge of systems theory
• Knowledge of child and youth development
• Knowledge of working with networks and viewing networks as a resource

Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have knowledge of BBIC and Signs of Safety, as well as a basic psychotherapy education (step 1).

Great importance will be placed on your ability to collaborate and personal maturity. We believe you will succeed best in the role of therapist if you have self-awareness and can distinguish between the personal and the professional based on your professional role. We want you to be self-driven and able to structure processes and have innovative thinking that can be implemented in practice.

The workplace is located at Englundavägen 13 in Solna Business Park, close to both commuter trains, subway, and light rail.

The position is a full-time temporary position, starting in April 2026 or by agreement, and will last for about a year.
