Alen is a care and nursing home located in central Mariestad. Here we have fresh facilities and a pleasant working environment. Additionally, we have a fantastic outdoor environment with nature right at our doorstep! The residence was inaugurated in December 2018 with three units, and the fourth unit opened just over a year ago.

We are now looking for two nursing assistants for longer temporary positions who want to contribute to good care for our wonderful elderly!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities consist of personal care, delegated healthcare tasks, social interaction, and daily chores. The work also involves close collaboration with unit managers, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. You will also have many contacts with relatives. We work with case management and representative assignments where you as an employee have the opportunity to develop and be part of the development of the organization.

We work with seven-week schedules for days, evenings, and weekends. This means that you will work three out of seven weekends, and you will be off for two consecutive weekends during the schedule period.

The positions we are now filling involve two longer full-time temporary positions. One is from February 1, 2026 - June 18, 2027, and the other is from March 2, 2026 - December 31, 2026.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for a position with us, you must be a trained nursing assistant and preferably have work experience in elderly care. If you also have additional training as a specialist nursing assistant, it is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is an attentive, positive, and secure person in interactions with care recipients. You possess good caregiving skills and are flexible since the work is based on close collaboration with your colleagues, where you are expected to step in and support as needed, even in other units.

As we work with many activities - both weekly and annual themed events, it is an advantage if you are an inventive and creative person.

You are expected to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. This is so you can receive and provide oral and written information. The job also requires computer skills so you can document and access written documentation in the operational systems used in daily work. All to ensure good and safe care.
