MaKe WeBo AB specializes in e-commerce with Swedish goods for export. The business has steadily grown since its inception in 2004 and is now one of the leading players in the market. With customers all over the globe, MaKe WeBo constantly works to stay at the forefront and put the customer first. In Lidköping, there are about 14 employees, and the company is part of a larger e-commerce group in Sweden.

About the Role

We are now looking for an Operational Purchaser for our e-commerce business. In this role, you will have a central function in ensuring correct inventory levels and high availability for our customers. You will work closely with suppliers, logistics, and internal teams to drive an efficient and data-driven purchasing process.

The role suits you who are driven, analytical, and enjoy working with numbers. You have excellent skills in Excel, enjoy analyzing data, and use numbers as a basis for decision-making to optimize purchases and inventory levels.

Responsibilities

• Operational purchasing work including order placement and follow-up
• Analysis of sales, forecasts, and inventory levels to optimize inventory turnover and capital binding
• Ongoing contact with suppliers regarding deliveries, volumes, lead times, and discrepancies
• Follow-up on purchases, costs, and delivery outcomes, as well as identifying improvement opportunities
• Participation in improvement and development work within purchasing and logistics
• Updating and quality assurance of item and supplier data in the business system
• Collaboration with internal departments such as sales, customer service, and warehouse

Qualifications

• Previous experience in purchasing, preferably within e-commerce, logistics, or fast-moving flows, or relevant post-secondary education
• Good analytical skills and understanding of numbers, forecasts, and data-driven decision-making
• Very good system and data skills; experience with business and purchasing systems as well as analytical tools is a plus
• Experience with Visma and Qlik is considered an extra advantage
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
