Rederi AB Göta's three classic canal boats travel on one of the world's most beautiful and breathtaking waterways - the Göta Canal, which connects Stockholm to Gothenburg with over 60 locks. We offer exclusive cruises with full board and guided tours.

We are looking for genuine, dedicated, and reliable employees who want to contribute to the enchanting atmosphere on board and provide our guests with memories for a lifetime.

As these are old boats, the ceiling height is limited to 185 cm in several places on board.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Cruise Host on our vessels, you are responsible for the passengers' comfort, guidance, and information. You are operationally responsible for contacts with booked activities, excursion destinations along the way, and also for the passenger list. You are also responsible for the sale of souvenirs and books as well as accounting at the end of the cruise.

In the role of cruise host, you are a central point of our guests' experience, and therefore you should be flexible, knowledgeable, and able to handle stress. You also assist with dishwashing, cleaning, and simple bar service. We recruit positive individuals with a professional and personal attitude towards both colleagues and guests.

YOU HAVE

• Excellent language skills in Swedish, English, and German
• High stress tolerance and excellent planning skills
• Fluent in Swedish, English, and German

• Experience in professional guiding
• Experience from the tourism & experience industry
• Education in history and/or culture
• Experience and knowledge from other service professions such as bar/service
• Boat experience
