Make a difference. Every day.

Do you want to work in an organization where specialist knowledge, care, and development go hand in hand? We are now looking for a dedicated nurse for our ear clinic in Kristianstad, where you will become an important part of a knowledgeable and close-knit team.

The Central Hospital in Kristianstad (CSK) is the emergency hospital for northeastern Skåne. Here, emergency care is provided around the clock by qualified and committed staff. CSK has the resources of a large hospital and the closeness and community of a smaller hospital. We have about 2,600 employees.

The area of expertise (VO) for ear, nose, and throat (ENT), with its approximately 65 employees, provides comprehensive specialist care in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of diseases and disabilities in the ear, nose, and throat area, as well as emergency services. The area has a well-developed medical practice in most of the various specialties of ENT and is supported by its own audiologists and speech therapists. In certain ENT diagnostic areas, CSK has a regional assignment, such as pediatric sleep apnea investigations.

We work for a good working environment characterized by good collaboration.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a nurse looking for a varied and developing job? We at the ear clinic in Kristianstad are now looking for you for a fixed-term employment until December 31, 2026. With us, you will be an important part of a dedicated team, meet patients of all ages, and experience the variation and dynamics that make the job so rewarding, where no day is like the other!

As a nurse at the ear clinic, you will be offered a stimulating and varied job in a specialized organization. You will work closely with doctors and assist in planned consultations, emergency services, and in connection with outpatient surgeries. The role gives you the opportunity to develop your skills in ear care and be an important part of a dedicated and interdisciplinary team.

At the clinic, nurses and nursing assistants also have their own consultations. We have, among other things, a Sleep Team, a Track Team, and contact nurses for our cancer patients. In the basic staffing, both nursing assistants and nurses cover shifts as needed, with nurses also covering runner positions that serve the clinics and respond to 1177 inquiries. We also have telephone counseling, but that is covered only after you have become more accustomed to your role as a nurse at the clinic.

With us, you will meet patients of all ages, from the very youngest to the oldest in society. The work is varied and filled with new meetings and experiences, making the ear operations both exciting and rewarding. Despite its seemingly small area, VO ENT is a large and broad field, which means that there are good development opportunities. The ear clinic is a clinic under development as a generational change among the doctors is now in its final stage, resulting in new exciting forms of consultations.

The working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 17:00. Every eighth week, work includes two evenings with our pediatric sleep apnea investigations; these shifts are currently covered, but changes may occur, and then it is part of our assignment.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is important that you have a good ability to handle stressful situations as we also have our emergency services up at the clinic on weekdays. Being responsible and able to prioritize your work easily is essential. To thrive with us, you should have a positive attitude and be driven by development.
