The Spinal Cord Injury Unit at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) is one of Sweden's leading providers of spinal cord injury care and rehabilitation. We have been entrusted by the National Board of Health and Welfare to operate as one of four nationally specialized units that receive more patients from a larger part of the country.

In early April 2023, we opened an acute rehabilitation medical unit at the top of Blocket with a fantastic view. Our newly renovated facilities create conditions for an inspiring environment where patient care of the highest quality is the focus. The unit in Lund complements the well-established operations currently located at Orup Hospital outside Höör.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a nursing assistant for Rehabilitation Medicine in Lund! With us, you will have a stimulating, meaningful, and varied job!

Here, you will work in interdisciplinary teamwork closely with many different professional categories such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nurses, all focusing on the patient and their needs. The team meets several times a week to discuss how the rehabilitation is progressing and review current goals together with the patient. We work for a high staff density to meet the patient's rehabilitation needs.

Your employment begins with a guided introduction, shadowing, and training in Rehabilitation Medicine, where we also collaborate with relevant emergency care within Sus and our units at Orup Hospital. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and meets the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you have studied under previous or current program structures. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are required. It is an advantage if you have experience in rehabilitation and/or knowledge and/or experience in emergency care.

The role requires high accuracy, good organizational and planning skills. As a person, you enjoy creating new contacts and maintaining good relationships at work. We value a good approach towards everyone around you and a service-oriented mindset. Furthermore, we believe you can easily adapt and make reprioritizations when circumstances change. We are keen to find the right person for the role and therefore place great importance on personal suitability.
