Care Assistants Wanted for Holmagården in Svedala

Care and support in Svedala municipality is characterized by a qualitative operation with skilled employees who make a difference. We are currently looking for care assistants for our special accommodation Holmagården.

Mission

Holmagården is a special accommodation in Svedala with 44 places, divided into four departments. We are currently seeking new colleagues for both the somatic department and the dementia department. Within our operation, there is also a day center, a pleasant meeting place for our seniors in the municipality. Here, good collaboration skills, a positive attitude, and a passionate interest in working with the elderly are of great importance.

We offer you a varied and exciting job. You will work closely with the care recipients, and your main focus is to provide person-centered care to the users and support their relatives.

Your Responsibilities

Your tasks include supporting our care recipients with care, activities, and training. Assistance with dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, and handling medication are also some of your responsibilities. In your role, you will also design implementation plans, document, conduct regular evaluations, and contribute to maintaining good quality in the operation.

By addressing each individual's needs, you contribute to a meaningful and pleasant everyday life for our elderly. We monitor quality in national registers such as BPSD and Senior Alert. Documentation is done in Lifecare. In daily care and support work, you will collaborate with other employees, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and unit managers.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Care assistant diploma and proof of the right to use the title care assistant
  • Experience in care and support work
  • Good computer skills and proficiency in the Swedish language as the role involves documentation
  • Criminal record extract “check your own information”

Meritorious

  • Experience in special accommodation
  • Education and experience in dementia or palliative care
  • Experience with Lifecare, MCSS, BPSD, and Senior Alert

To succeed in this role, you should have a genuine interest in people and a solid sense of good care. You are responsible and have an easy time working independently while contributing to good collaboration with colleagues, care recipients, relatives, and managers. We welcome new ideas and thoughts for our operation!

Before employment for positions involving care and support work, we require an extract from the criminal record, which is done as a final step in the recruitment process.

Working Hours/Duration

Permanent employment with start date according to agreement. Full-time employment with the possibility of part-time work. Work during day and evening hours as well as every other weekend.

Salary

Individual salary setting applies.
