Your Responsibilities

We are now looking for new colleagues who want to be part of our wonderful team! The positions are permanent employment at 100%, and the working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. With us, you will work to provide good service, create great relationships, and contribute to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Together with your colleagues, you are an important piece in creating a meaningful everyday life for our citizens in need of support, care, and assistance.

The position includes care tasks, which involve, for example, assistance with showering, dressing and undressing, cleaning, laundry, and walks. It may also be necessary to perform certain medical tasks after delegation from a nurse. Additionally, you may be required to help in our kitchen as needed. Before your workday, you will read in our documentation system, Treserva, to be updated on what has happened since you last worked and will also end the day by documenting events during the day.

We work based on IBIC (individual's needs in focus) and with the individual's best interests in mind. Our work is also characterized by a salutogenic approach, which means focusing on the healthy and drawing out the person's own abilities.

Your Workplace

The Care and Social Services Administration operates Vretaliden and Härnebacken home care located in Ljungsbro, about 15 kilometers northwest of Linköping Municipality. Here, we operate from our premises at Härnebacken and Vretaliden sheltered housing. Our sheltered housing is centrally located in Ljungsbro and consists of 18 and 12 apartments respectively. In the sheltered housing, there are apartments, recreational activities, and lunch service. Both operations have good public transport connections with a stop about 100 meters from the building.

The team providing home care in Ljungsbro consists of about 40 nursing assistants and caregivers. Here, we work in two different teams; Härnebacken and Vreta, and provide home care in our sheltered housing as well as in Ljungsbro and Berg and surrounding areas. When we go to assist individuals in need of your help, we do so by bike, car, or on foot.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with experience in care, support, and assistance, or a completed high school education combined with experience in service work. If you also have training as a nursing assistant, we consider it an advantage.

Working in elderly care involves a lot of customer contact and documentation, which means we require you to be able to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish. You must be able to use digital tools in your work, and it is advantageous if you have experience documenting in journal systems. Being able to cycle is a requirement. If you have a B driver's license, we consider it an advantage.

As a person, you are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks and push your work forward. You also work well with others and listen and communicate clearly. It is also important that you have an empathetic ability that allows you to understand others' perspectives and situations.
