Job Opening: Conversation Therapist

Due to planned leave, we are now looking for a new colleague for our team of conversation therapists who run the conversation clinic.

The Nygatan Health Center is located in central Linköping, close to everything the city center has to offer. Nygatan Health Center has approximately 10,800 registered patients across a diverse age range. In addition to a medical clinic and a child health center, the health center has several specialist nurse clinics and a conversation clinic with CBT competence. In the autumn of 2026, the health center will also move to completely new premises in central Linköping. This change will provide further opportunities for developed working methods and approaches, such as expanded group offerings and continued development of digiphysical working methods.

Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers and 4 emergency centers. The Lambohov Health Center has about 11,700 registered patients and serves both urban and rural areas. We conduct a broad primary care operation that includes everything from emergency care and planned outpatient work, from child health to elderly care. We often work in teams with district nurses, psychologists, dietitians, rehabilitation coordinators, medical administrators, and child health nurses.

Job Description

We offer an interesting, varied, and independent job. The clinic conducts individual conversation therapy, ICBT (internet-based CBT), and telephone assessments. In the daily rounds at the health center, you will represent the psychosocial competence. The work is independent, but you will have close collaboration with psychologist colleagues and other professionals at the health center, as well as cooperate with other community resources.

The opportunity for professional development is good, and external regular supervision is included in the assignment. In addition, there is an opportunity to participate in network meetings for primary care psychologists/primary care curators. Additionally, some further education may also be included.

Work Group

Currently, there are four psychologists employed at the conversation clinic, all with experience from primary care. The health center also has a rehabilitation coordinator and a dietitian. We generally have good staffing and a positive work climate, and we currently have about 42 employees. We work together for a professional care of our patients within the primary care assignment. Here, you will work alongside several professional groups with extensive experience in primary care.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist or health and medical care curator. We prefer that you have several years of experience in health and medical care and the tasks included in the primary care assignment. As a person, you are flexible and independent. You have good collaboration skills and personal maturity. Furthermore, you have a good ability to work both in teams and individually. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability in the appointment of this position. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is necessary. Experience in primary care is an advantage.
