You will work alone at night with a resident who has an intellectual disability and dementia. The resident lives in an apartment located in the same building as the service housing's base apartment.
You will be supporting and being present with the resident when they have difficulty settling down at night.
When the resident is sleeping, there are frequent checks, and there is also an alarm, so you do not need to be in the apartment all the time.
During the night, there may occasionally be another resident who calls for some verbal support.
On quiet nights, there may be some light cleaning in the base apartment that needs to be done.
