HR Administrator at the Swedish Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO)

Do you want to make a difference and contribute to safer health and social care? The Swedish Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO) is now looking for an additional HR Administrator for the HR unit.

About the Job

We offer the opportunity to work with HR administration in a forward-thinking authority characterized by development and growth. You will work alongside knowledgeable, positive, and engaged colleagues in an open and inclusive collaborative climate, where we support each other.

The role has a clear operational focus and involves structuring, administrating, and following up on the cases you handle.

As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • managing employment administration and recording recruitment cases
  • being IVO's contact person with the Swedish Agency for Government Employers regarding payroll issues
  • handling payroll matters and various compensations in the payroll system Primula
  • managing requests for the release of public documents
  • being responsible for the unit's functional mailbox

The role is varied and gives you good opportunities to plan and shape your work. We encourage you to take initiatives and actively contribute to streamlining and clarifying administrative routines within the unit.

This is a permanent position with a six-month probationary period, located in Stockholm.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • a three-year upper secondary education
  • at least three years of experience in a similar position within public administration
  • experience in record-keeping
  • experience in archiving
  • good familiarity with using system support
  • good knowledge of the Office suite
  • good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

To succeed in this role, you need to be service-oriented and have a professional demeanor in contacts with both internal clients and external suppliers. You work independently and take responsibility for driving your tasks forward, while also having good collaboration skills and enjoying working with others to achieve common goals. You are flexible and can adapt to changing conditions and priorities without compromising quality or legal security. Furthermore, you have a structured approach to work, where you plan, document, and follow up on your tasks carefully and systematically.

During the recruitment process, we will place great importance on your personal qualities.

It is considered an advantage if you also have:

  • education in personnel administration or equivalent
  • experience with payroll administration tasks
  • experience working in Primula

Workplace Description

The HR unit consists of about 12 employees and is one of six units organizationally placed in the department for operational support. The other units in the department are the Administrative Unit, Digitalization Unit, Finance Unit, IT Unit, and Registry.

IVO contributes to safe health and social care. The mission of the Swedish Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO) is to contribute to health and social care that is safe, of good quality, and conducted in accordance with laws and other regulations through supervision and licensing.

The authority is characterized by a strong commitment as well as a broad and deep knowledge and understanding of health care and social care in Sweden. We exist for the benefit of care recipients.

The authority has about 800 employees. The supervision work is conducted at six regional departments around the country. The departments for licensing, analysis, planning and communication, and operational support are located in Stockholm, as is the director general's staff.
