About the workplace

At Kansli S within the Faculty of Social Sciences, we are 60 employees, located in the Paradis area in the heart of Lund. We provide qualified operational support for faculty management and the faculty's departments in education, management support, research, HR, finance, and communication.

We are now looking for a driven and service-oriented HR administrator who will be placed within the HR department at Kansli S.

Job responsibilities and areas of responsibility

As an HR administrator, your main task is to provide administrative support within the HR area to managers and employees. The role combines practical work with advisory elements and involves many points of contact and close collaboration with colleagues at Kansli S as well as other HR functions within Lund University. You will be a close operational support and an important part in ensuring quality and efficiency in HR processes.

Your main tasks include:

  • Administrative management of the employment lifecycle: From recruitment to termination, including processing recruitment and employment matters, support in HR systems, handling expenses and travel reimbursements, record-keeping and archiving, monitoring fixed-term employment, vacation requests and leaves, handling layoffs, and support during onboarding and offboarding.
  • Advisory and support: Provide guidance on personnel administrative issues as well as basic labor law and contractual matters.
  • Process development: In collaboration with colleagues within the faculty's HR department, develop and implement HR processes and administrative routines. This involves active participation in networks and working groups.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Education in the HR field or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Current experience in HR administration and payroll administration.
  • Ability to work in a structured, accurate, and efficient manner in daily tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple parallel tasks.
  • Ability to work independently during periods of high workload while maintaining quality.
  • Very good ability to communicate in Swedish and English.
  • Good digital competence and experience working in HR systems.

Meritorious:

  • Experience working with payroll.
  • Experience in HR administrative work within the public sector.

Great emphasis will be placed on how your skills and experience complement and contribute to the development of the HR department.

Other

The position is full-time and permanent. A probationary period may apply. Start date according to agreement.
