Beroendecentrum Stockholm is looking for an IT Coordinator
Beroendecentrum Stockholm is Sweden's largest addiction clinic. We offer support and assistance to individuals with problems related to alcohol, drugs, medications, or gambling. Our operations include emergency and inpatient care, local outpatient care, and highly specialized care. We are also a clinic that conducts university healthcare as well as research and education.
The Workplace
Within Beroendecentrum Stockholm, there is the local operational support where work related to patient safety, IT, finance, and other development and support functions is carried out. Beroendecentrum's local operational support is located at St Göran's hospital area.
An IT Coordinator supports the clinical operations within the IT and telephony environment with the aim of strengthening the clinic's ability to work with IT and contribute to a secure IT environment. The IT Coordinator acts as a link between the operations and the central digital functions for IT and Take Care. By being an accessible and knowledgeable resource, the IT Coordinator helps to optimize; IT usage, information security, as well as implement and manage care-supporting systems.
Responsibilities
- Coordination of IT needs and support within IT systems
- Information security
- Development, training, and information within IT, TC, telephony, and its routines and processes
- System management of the patient record system (Take Care)
- Management of permissions, licenses, EK, and care-supporting systems
- Participates in the overall structures for IT, telephony, and registration management
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with relevant education in system management/IT, technical knowledge of various IT services, systems, telephony, and technology, as well as experience in the administration of IT systems.
Knowledge and experience of web-based services in healthcare and work within healthcare operations are meritorious. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, with the ability to work systematically.

Employment Type
Permanent employment. Full-time 39.5 hours/week. Start date according to agreement. A probationary period may apply.

Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis. Beroendecentrum Stockholm applies alcohol and drug testing as well as background checks before hiring. The position is filled on the condition that it does not need to be allocated for internal relocation, according to current regulations.
For patient-related work within the Stockholm County Council healthcare area:
- background checks are applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during hiring.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment medical examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
- in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
