The Heart Clinic consists of several different specialist clinics for patients with heart and vascular diseases. In addition to nurse-based specialist clinics within our various teams, such as anticoagulation, arrhythmia, pacemaker/ICD, heart failure, and ischemia, we also have physician and physiotherapist clinics.

We work in nice premises at Drottninggatan 7. With us, we care about a pleasant and enjoyable work environment created and maintained by our fantastic employees. Together we work with continuous and structured improvement efforts where everyone is involved.

We currently have a team of 25 employees, consisting of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, biomedical analysts, and medical secretaries. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At the Heart Clinic, there is a strong research tradition where you will play a key role. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the initiation of new studies and organizing the research process. Your work will also involve managing sample handling and the documentation required to conduct a clinical study. You will play an active role in facilitating the recruitment of study participants and ensuring that colleagues have the right information and resources for research to be an integral part of the organization.

In this role, you will work across the entire heart operation and communicate with patients as well as research partners through various channels. You will work closely with other nurses, doctors, medical secretaries, paramedics, researchers/monitors, sponsors, and study participants. Continuing education in both clinical research and the field of cardiology is a given part of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare. You have language skills in Swedish that correspond to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale. We also want you to have good IT skills and proficiency in English.

Previous experience with research and training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is an advantage. Experience in cardiac care is desirable.
