We are now looking for a Shift Leader Restaurant for the Scandic Östersund Syd hotel.

What does the role of Shift Leader Restaurant entail?

As someone working in our restaurant, you are the first person the guest meets, so it is crucial that you have a warm demeanor and are attentive to details and the guest's needs. You have a passionate interest in food and beverages and enjoy order and tidiness, both in your own work and that of your colleagues. All to provide our guests with a fantastic dining experience. Your main tasks will include serving food and beverages and being responsible for your own cash register. You will also support the hotel team with other tasks as needed.

In the role of Shift Leader, you are responsible for hosting for the entire hotel, both towards guests and employees. In addition to being part of the operations, you will have an overall view of the guest flow in the restaurant and work with the team to prioritize tasks so that the operation runs smoothly and guests are satisfied. You will lead and delegate work and manage staffing during your shift. If needed, you will have the opportunity to train new employees at the hotel and also relieve the Restaurant Manager of certain administrative tasks.

Who are you?

To fit this role, we believe you have at least two years of experience in a similar position and experience in concept-driven operations. You have the ability and willingness to work with operational leadership. You are confident in your leadership and possess both integrity and a sales drive. However, your personal qualities and attitude are the most important. To fit this role, you need to be a good team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall results. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.

The position is a permanent part-time employment. The working hours may be increased.
