Storlien Högfjällshotell is looking for a cheerful and driven chef with an interest in outdoor activities to join our year-round team.

Storlien is a small village located in the mountains of Åre municipality. Here you will find grocery stores, restaurants, a preschool, a ski resort, hiking trails, lakes for fishing, and cross-country and snowmobile tracks. Storlien Högfjällshotell is a historic institution in Storlien, recently celebrating its 90th anniversary. The hotel currently has 195 rooms, two restaurants, conference facilities, a gym, and a pool.

About you

We are looking for someone with 2-4 years of experience as a chef, preferably in à la carte, who wants to work in Storlien, Åre municipality. You have a great passion for cooking and are also curious about working with local ingredients. A strong interest in outdoor cooking and outdoor life is a big plus. You possess a strong sense of teamwork and, together with your colleagues, want to provide the best possible dining experience for guests visiting Storlien.

About the position

The working hours and tasks vary as we work with both à la carte service and buffets for large groups, as well as holidays such as Christmas/New Year and Easter. We are now looking for reinforcement for our year-round team as the hotel is open year-round and is entering an exciting new phase.

Accommodation is available within walking distance of the hotel.

Initially, the position is 80%, with a good opportunity for full-time work.
