Toppstugan Kariknallen (or simply Knallen) is located at 1050 meters above sea level and is a popular tourist destination both in summer and winter. Here, crispy waffles and homemade pastries are served, as well as soup, sandwiches, and other light lunches.

You start the day by loading the snowmobile with what you need together with your colleague. It takes about fifteen minutes to drive up to the mountain lodge where the view of the valley and the vast mountains welcomes you just as strikingly every time. The flag is raised, and then it's time to prepare sandwiches, make waffle batter, take out pastries, heat the soup, clean, and tidy up before the first guests arrive. Some days there are few people, while others can be really hectic, often depending on the weather. You take care of the guests during the day, and after closing, you clean and prepare for the next day. Then the flag is lowered, and the journey back to Bruksvallarna begins.

In your role, you will be involved in cooking and prepping, serving, cash handling, and cleaning. You should have a strong interest in working in the service industry, be responsible, and enjoy meeting new people. Previous experience in service/tourism is an advantage. Working across departmental boundaries when needed is something you consider a given. It is a plus if you are interested in outdoor activities.

The employment starts in week 6 and lasts until the season ends in April. If we enjoy working together and you want to continue working with us, there is an opportunity for continued employment during the upcoming summer season.
