The catering service in our municipality is now looking for a substitute cook/kitchen assistant for the kitchen in Gäddede. The need for a substitute is from now but also over the summer.

The kitchen in Gäddede prepares and serves about 120 meals per day to elderly care, preschool, and primary school. The work team consists of three cooks/kitchen assistants, and working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday.

In the catering service, we work with quality, sustainability, and joy of food – the meal should be a positive experience and a highlight of the day.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities include regular tasks in a large kitchen, such as:

• Cooking and preparation
• Special diets and adapted meals
• Serving in the school restaurant
• Dishes and cleaning
• Self-control and food hygiene

You actively contribute to developing the meal and the operation together with colleagues so that the meal becomes one of the highlights of the day for our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who wants to work in the kitchen, preferably with training as a cook/kitchen assistant. Experience from working in a kitchen is an advantage.

As a person, you are communicative, cooperative, and flexible. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

It is good if you have basic computer skills since we use a food data program in the operation.
