The food service in our municipality is now looking for a temporary cook/kitchen assistant for the kitchens in Hoting and Kyrktåsjö.

The kitchen in Hoting prepares and serves about 150–200 portions per day to elderly care, preschool, and primary school. The work team consists of three cooks/kitchen assistants, and the working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday.

The kitchen in Kyrktåsjö prepares and serves about 70 portions per day from Monday to Friday to elderly care, preschool, and primary school. For elderly care, about 20 portions are also prepared on weekends. The work team consists of two cooks/kitchen assistants, and the working hours are scheduled for seven days a week.

Within the food service, we work with quality, sustainability, and joy of food – the meal should be a positive experience and a highlight of the day.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities include standard tasks in a large kitchen, such as:

• Cooking and preparation
• Special diets and adapted meals
• Serving in the school restaurant
• Dishes and cleaning
• Self-control and food hygiene

You actively contribute to developing the meal and the operation together with colleagues so that the meal becomes one of the highlights of the day for our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who wants to work in a kitchen, preferably with training as a cook or kitchen assistant.

You have:

• Experience working in a kitchen
• Basic computer skills, as we use food data programs in the operation
