We are looking for a chef who wants to be part of our dedicated team at Storhogna Högfjällshotell & Spa – a mountain oasis with a spa, restaurant, and stunning environment, open 10 months a year.

Welcome to a hotel in the heart of the mountains

Storhogna Högfjällshotell & Spa is located in the heart of the Jämtland mountain region – nature-close, peaceful, and with expansive views right outside the door. The nearest towns, Vemdalen and Klövsjö, can be reached by car in about 15 minutes. This is the place for you who thrives with the rhythm of the mountains and loves to combine work with skiing, summit hikes, mountain biking, or peaceful walks. With us, you not only get a unique work environment – you also become part of a dedicated team that cares for each other and every guest.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 2 years of experience as a chef
• Is passionate about ingredients, flavors, and quality
• Has relevant education in kitchen/restaurant
• Is engaged, solution-oriented, and enjoys working in a team
• Contributes to a kitchen filled with joy, structure, and creativity
• Wants to develop and help shape the guests' dining experience

About the role

We serve breakfast, lunch, bistro menu, and dinner – often with local inspiration and always with care. Guests dine in our green Winter Garden or in the beautiful Kopparsalen. You will work in a team that is passionate about creating memorable meals, and you will help develop the menu together with the head chef and colleagues.

Practical information

• 📍 Season: July–April (start date by agreement)
• 📅 Employment rate: approx. 85%
• 🏡 Staff accommodation available
