Your Mission

As an IT Security Specialist with us, you will play a key role in protecting our operations and critical infrastructure. You will work with both traditional IT and our OT environment (Operational Technology) and ensure that our systems are robust, available, and secure. You will do this by driving work on risk management, incident management, and security testing.

You will be an important link to our security department and contribute to building structure, order, and long-term development that follows relevant standards and regulations. You will have many internal points of contact and collaborate with other specialists and various departments to create a stable and secure IT environment together.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security solutions for IT and OT environments
• Work with risk analyses, incident management, and security testing
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including NIS2
• Follow up and report security status and suggest improvements
• Support the organization in increasing competence in cybersecurity

Your Team

The position of IT Security Specialist is new and located in the IT and Digital Development department. The department consists of thirteen people across our three functions; IT, OT (Operational Technology), and Digital Development. We have a mixed IT environment where we both operate systems ourselves and use cloud services. Since we are a relatively small department, we help each other, support one another, and you get a very good overall view, being involved in all processes and having a good opportunity to influence. We use modern technology and encourage certification and continuous professional development.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, we see that you are analytical, structured, and quality-conscious. You have a security mindset in everything you do, are curious about new solutions, and responsive to the needs of the organization. Furthermore, you are a team player who can work independently as well as collaborate closely with others.

In terms of experience, we are looking for someone who has:

• Several years of experience in IT or cybersecurity
• Good knowledge of IT infrastructure (networks, firewalls, and system hardening)
• Relevant university education in IT/technology or equivalent work experience
• Driving license (B)

Meritorious:

• Experience in OT environments, or a desire to develop in this area
• Practical experience in incident management and Security Operations
• Knowledge of automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell or Python)
• Updated knowledge of regulations and legislation, especially NIS2

You communicate fluently in Swedish both orally and in writing and hold Swedish citizenship. A security clearance may be conducted during the process.
