Job Description

As a nurse in the Mobile Care Team, you will perform tasks within specialist psychiatry in the form of emergency psychiatry and specialized psychiatric home care. Your days will be varied and developing in a flexible operation. You will meet patients in different situations, mixed environments, and with varying psychiatric issues. You will work closely with your colleagues.

You will make psychiatric assessments, follow-ups, assessments of psychiatric care interventions, and more. It is a unique operation within Region Östergötland. To provide the patient with the best possible care, you will work closely with the outpatient clinics, inpatient departments, care neighbors, and relatives of the patient.

During your working days, you will, together with a colleague, make psychiatric assessments, follow-up and evaluative assessments during home care visits, medication follow-ups and evaluations, telephone counseling, and much more.

We work based on a cohesive care chain with treatment responsibility in both outpatient and inpatient care. The business idea is to provide patients with early, individualized, and needs-adapted interventions through integrated family engagement. This makes patient and relative focus a central part of our work.

The Mobile Care Team is a 24/7 operation at the psychiatric clinic in Motala Mjölby. The schedule is a rolling schedule that runs over 6 weeks, with rotation between day shifts and night shifts.

Work Group

The work group consists of nurses and caregivers. Working together with doctors during assessments occurs, but also working with other professions in the clinic when needed.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training in psychiatry. If you have experience in psychiatric care, it is an advantage but not a requirement.

Since you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

For this position, we are looking for someone who is flexible and cooperative.
