The obstetric unit is part of the Women's Clinic at the university hospital in Linköping. The mission of the Women's Clinic is to provide healthcare in gynecology and obstetrics, education, and research. The obstetric inpatient unit consists of labor/antenatal department, maternity ward, and maternity outpatient clinic. Here, staff work in rotation across one or more of these units. Care is provided in modern facilities near the Neonatal ICU and surgery.

Job Description

As a Nurse in the maternity ward, you play an important role in providing our patients with safe and secure postnatal care based on the unique needs of each patient. You will work in interdisciplinary teams with a common focus on providing world-class care. In the unit, we care for pregnant women from week 20 and handle deliveries from the entire southeastern healthcare region. Work may also occur in the clinic's other units if needed.

About You

We are looking for someone who wants to work towards safe and attractive postnatal care for today's and tomorrow's women, where the individual's unique needs are at the center. Previous professional experience in obstetric outpatient and inpatient care is an advantage.

As a person, you enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams. You are also someone who communicates and collaborates easily with both patients and colleagues. You are structured, independent, and have the ability to prioritize in acute situations, and you thrive in a job that can vary in tasks and workload.
