The clinic serves children and adolescents up to 17 years old with permanent disabilities such as mobility impairments, intellectual disabilities, and/or autism, and their families. The operation is based on a multidisciplinary child- and family-centered approach, which means that the child and family have full participation in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of interventions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a dietitian, you will work with children and adolescents who have permanent disabilities and nutrition-related issues. Your tasks will include assessing nutritional status and developing nutritional treatment based on the individual patient's needs and circumstances. The focus is on enteral nutrition and growth deviations/malnutrition. Here, you will work with both tube feedings and food choices, fortification, and dietary supplements. Additionally, you will participate in nutrition consultations and have contact with the patient's family or guardians. In your role, you will collaborate with your colleagues in the multidisciplinary team, especially with the nurses in the unit. Besides the team in the unit, you will have close contact with other dietitian colleagues placed in other clinics in Skåne.

With us, you will have the opportunity to work both digitally with certain parts of patient work, on-site, and from home.

As a new employee, you will receive an introduction based on previous experiences, where a dietitian colleague will act as a mentor during the introduction.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed dietitian with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are a requirement. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in habilitation and/or experience working with children and adolescents with various disabilities. It is also advantageous if you have good knowledge of the Office suite and PMO and if you have a valid B driver's license.

We believe that you are an independent, initiative-taking, and flexible person with excellent collaboration skills. You value good relationships with your colleagues and are happy to share experiences to provide our patients with the best possible care. Your curiosity and genuine interest in working with habilitation are important qualities. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
