Brännkärrsskolan is a F-5 school with approximately 310 students and 42 staff members. The school has bright and adapted learning spaces. We have a kitchen, and our chefs offer flavorful and varied lunches that are appreciated by both students and adults. Students have access to a large and varied playground close to nature.

The school's location has good bus connections from Knivsta and Uppsala.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher at Brännkärrsskolan, you and your five other teaching colleagues in the grade team are responsible for planning, teaching, following up, and assessing in grades 4 and 5, primarily focusing on mathematics and science. You will have mentorship responsibilities in grade 4. Through collegial learning, you will evaluate, analyze, and reflect on the teaching to ensure that results are achieved. Together with your teaching colleagues, you will lead and organize the work in the grade team and create a safe and developing learning environment for all students.

Together with all pedagogical staff, you will develop the school's teaching through engagement and participation in various development groups.

QUALIFICATIONS

A degree in primary education with authorization to teach grades 4-6. We are looking for someone with a teaching license primarily in mathematics, Swedish, and science for grades 4-6 and with several years of teaching experience. Other subjects are a merit. To thrive at Brännkärrsskolan, it is important that you have good collaboration skills, can easily build good relationships, and collaborate with students, guardians, the grade team, after-school care, the school's student health team, and school leadership. You are confident in your professional practice and have a clear vision for your work. You are attentive, creative, structured, and a clear leader in the classroom. You see collegial work as an important part of developing together. You show a genuine interest in our students and take great responsibility in your profession. You have good didactic skills, solid subject knowledge with an understanding that students have different learning conditions. Furthermore, you have good analytical and reflective skills and continuously develop your teaching to create good conditions for students' learning.
