Are you a contact nurse or a nurse with experience in urological outpatient care? Then you are the one we are looking for this position.

The Assignment

As a contact nurse with us, you play a key role in prostate cancer care. Together with a colleague, you are responsible for patients within the diagnosis area of prostate cancer. You will be a reliable contact for patients and their relatives throughout the care chain, where you provide support, coordinate efforts, manage treatment follow-ups, and participate in the diagnosis notification process. You also contribute to developing and organizing the contact nurse's work at the clinic.

The assignment also includes regular outpatient work such as telephone counseling, appointment booking, referral management, and assisting with various treatments and examinations.

Qualifications

Licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Experience as a contact nurse and/or as a nurse in urological outpatient care is required. It is advantageous if you have further education in urology and/or contact nurse training.

As a person, you are easy to collaborate with while enjoying working independently. The role requires you to easily adapt to changing circumstances, be meticulous, and have good organizational skills. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
