The area of operation (VO) emergency care close to care within the management of Close Care and Health consists of emergency departments that do not operate around the clock, and evening and weekend clinics (KVH) within Region Skåne. The southern area within VO emergency care close to care includes evening and weekend clinics in Malmö, Trelleborg, and Ystad, as well as the emergency department in Trelleborg.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will combine your role between the weekend clinic and the emergency department in Trelleborg. The distribution for the position is approximately 30 percent at the weekend clinic and the remaining 70 percent at the emergency department.

Your responsibilities at the weekend clinic include telephone advice, triage, sample collection, and assistance during doctor consultations. In your role, you are an important part of our improvement and development work, where we strive to enhance the medical quality for our patients and create a good working environment for all employees.

As a nurse in the emergency department, you are a vital part of the team around the patient. You work with assessment, prioritization, treatment, and care in an environment where no day is the same. At the same time, you are given the opportunity to engage in improvement projects and help develop both the care and our working environment.

You will have the opportunity for good insight into both of our operations and to develop in both acute care and triaging patients to the right care instance.

You will work according to a schedule with varying working hours, where shifts occur both during the day, evening, and two weekends out of five.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. It is an advantage if you are a trained district nurse. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required. It is also advantageous if you have work experience in primary care and/or emergency care. Knowledge of PMO is also considered a plus.

The management of Close Care and Health has existed since January 1, 2025. The management is responsible for grant-funded healthcare activities within close care. This includes mobile teams and specialized palliative care, outpatient care within close care, emergency care within close care, 1177 by phone, and certain region-wide functions. Additionally, the management is responsible for the development and follow-up of the transition to close care in Region Skåne. The number of employees is expected to be around 1,000.
