We are now looking for a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.

We are seeking a Sous Chef with a few years of experience who enjoys a fast-paced environment and has good teamwork skills. You should be able to lead the kitchen and will be responsible for quality and finances during your shift.

Den Gyldene Freden has been serving Swedish home-cooked meals since 1722. Both well-known cultural figures and long-distance visitors, as well as local regulars, come to our historic premises in Gamla Stan to enjoy the delicious food and genuine atmosphere – whether for everyday meals or special occasions. We at Den Gyldene Freden take pride in our heritage and constantly work to develop classic flavors into modern dishes. Our philosophy is that good food takes time to prepare and enjoy. Influences come from all over the world, but the foundation is the Nordic kitchen in our personal way, with great respect for ingredients, origin, and craftsmanship. We are now looking for a sous chef who feels confident in the classic kitchen. We also expect you to be meticulous and engaged in your profession.

We offer you the opportunity to work with high-quality ingredients in a well-organized environment with a friendly atmosphere. Here, we cook from scratch and focus on flavors and craftsmanship. You will be involved in all aspects, from mise en place during the day to service in the evenings.

The position will be filled immediately.

Working hours are varied, but most shifts will be in the evenings.
