We currently have a great need to hire more substitute cooks for work in schools, preschools, elderly care, and nursing homes. We offer work on weekdays (Monday-Friday) during daytime hours (approx. 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM), and some evenings and weekends may also occur.

As a substitute cook at BILDA, you will work in kitchens at a preschool, school, large kitchen, or nursing home. In schools, elderly care, and nursing homes, it is usually a larger kitchen with several people working together. In preschool kitchens, you often work alone. As a cook, you are responsible for independently or with other staff preparing and serving lunch to the students. Sometimes other meals, such as breakfast and snacks, are also included.

In some kitchens, food must be prepared from scratch, while in others, it is only reheating food. You are also responsible for keeping the kitchen clean, ensuring compliance with self-control and hygiene regulations, and, if necessary, unpacking and ordering food supplies.

BILDA has a collective agreement, offers an introductory training, and provides ongoing coaching support and dialogue with an assigned contact person at BILDA.

To work as a substitute cook, you need:

· Culinary education (certificate must be presented)

· Interest in food and cooking

· Flexible and attentive

· Speak and write Swedish
