About the Job

In your role as an occupational therapist, you will work independently with occupational therapy tasks such as hand rehabilitation, MMSE as part of dementia assessment, ergonomic advice, testing of assistive devices, and home adaptations. You will also be the health center's dementia coordinator and report in the quality register Swedem.

At Hertig Knut Health Center, we have a very well-functioning rehab team. Here, you will be a valuable resource alongside the rehab coordinator, physiotherapists, social worker, psychologist, and doctors. We meet our patients both in the clinic and in their homes.

As an occupational therapist, you will be part of a network with other occupational therapists within Primary Care Halmstad/Laholm, with regular meetings on Teams.

About the Workplace

Hertig Knut Health Center is a medium-sized health center with approximately 9,700 registered patients. The facility is located in the heart of Halmstad. The health center consists of a medical clinic and district nurse clinic, laboratory for blood sampling, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychosocial team, child health center, and specialist clinics for asthma/COPD and diabetes.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist.

As a person, you enjoy and are used to working both independently and in a team. You are solution-focused and see opportunities in changes. Furthermore, you are skilled at structuring, organizing, and prioritizing your work. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Since we conduct home visits to patients, a valid driver's license (B) is required.
