Homsan is a family-owned company characterized by personal commitment. With the individual's needs and wishes as a foundation, we run daily operations for those covered by LSS. We are the small company with the big heart!

Homsan operates several daily activities in the Stockholm area. One of these is Aston in Kista, which caters to individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities.

Aston is a smaller operation with a structured content. We actively work with clarifying pedagogy such as visual supports and alternative communication. Participants are offered activities in creative arts, music sessions, reading, physical activities, outdoor experiences, and social interaction. Activities are offered both individually and in groups.

As a work supervisor, you will work extensively with pedagogical support and alternative augmentative communication. You should create a safe and structured day for the participants with your approach and also collaborate closely with the individual's network. The role includes support person responsibility and a legal requirement for ongoing documentation.

The staff group currently consists of 5 work supervisors, coordinators, and close leadership from the operations manager.

We are looking for someone who is calm and secure, has a strong sense of responsibility, and enjoys working both independently and with colleagues. As a person, you are stimulated by development work, have a great interest in people, and feel motivated to contribute to our important work of creating a structured, meaningful, and developing everyday life for the participants.

Aston has an established and secure work group with close collaboration. We place great importance on personal suitability in recruitment.

Requirements:

  • Basic education in care and nursing or pedagogy
  • Knowledge and experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and with intellectual disabilities
  • Experience with clarifying pedagogy and alternative augmentative communication
  • Experience working with low-arousal approaches
  • Preferably previous experience with LSS and daily activities
  • Good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written)

At Homsan, you will:

  • Work in a family-owned company with sound values
  • Receive wellness benefits
  • Have a collective agreement through Almega/care companies
  • Be close to management and leadership

We are now looking for a colleague for 60% (daytime, Monday-Friday) with a start date to be agreed upon. The employment is a permanent position that begins with a 6-month probation period.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
