Description

The HR department within the Administration for Support to People with Disabilities consists of five units with approximately 90 employees.

The HR Support unit is responsible for the operational HR support to the administration's managers. The unit consists of a cohesive workgroup with a mixed blend of junior and senior employees. As the support to managers is set to increase, we need to grow, and we are now looking for a new colleague with a bit more experience.

The work is based on the HR processes established for the City of Gothenburg. In the current position, you will be required to take on complex HR cases at short notice, often involving multiple individuals. The work is independent and alternates between quick interventions and more long-term tasks. One day may consist mostly of working alone, while the next day may involve collaboration in a larger context.

The size of the administration means that there are many points of contact, collaborations, and questions happening simultaneously, which requires a great deal of personal responsibility in daily work. The unit places great importance on a supportive and unpretentious climate where we care for and help each other.

In the unit, you will have the opportunity to both drive and develop the administration's HR work, both with your closest colleagues and with the rest of HR. There is ongoing development work within the HR department, focusing on further utilizing opportunities for collaboration and sharing experiences as one large HR department.

The unit has offices at Selma Lagerlöfs Torg and Mässans Gata, but since the administration's activities are located throughout the city, some work will be performed elsewhere depending on the task at hand. We have a positive attitude towards a combination of work in the administration's premises and remote work based on given conditions.

Working hours are scheduled during office hours Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours applied.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree in human resources or another degree that the employer assesses as equivalent. For the role, it is required that you have worked broadly within the HR field for at least five years as management and employee support in occupational health, labor law, union cooperation, and rehabilitation.

As an employer representative, you must be comfortable in social contact areas, both informal and formal. You stand by the decisions made and can convey uncomfortable messages when necessary.

The many points of contact require that you have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. By being interested and creating understanding for others, you contribute to a respectful work climate.

To succeed in the assignment, you also need to be able to act independently based on what the situation requires without needing support from others. Your ability to make independent decisions within the framework of your assignment will therefore be important.

Furthermore, you use your time efficiently and work systematically, organized, and methodically. You ensure that the work is completed and follow up on the results.

It will be easier to quickly get into the work if you have experience in HR work within public operations or the City of Gothenburg as an employer, but we also welcome applications from candidates with experience from other industries and employers.

Welcome with your application!
