We are now looking for temporary staff for our housing support team. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference! About Nytida Support Housing Stockholm We cater to young people aged 16-20 who want to move to their own apartment but are not quite ready for an independent apartment with completely self-sufficient living.
We support our youth based on issues related to social skills, neuropsychiatric diagnoses, mental health, previous substance abuse, criminality, and unaccompanied minors.
At Nytida Support Housing, we provide opportunities for young people to develop their skills in their own apartment with self-catering. We have staff available around the clock, seven days a week, with sleeping on-call.
Our overarching goal is for our youth to feel secure in their home and to gain practical skills for independent living in the future. We cater to those who need extra support to take the step into adulthood.
We have two residences in Stockholm, both located near public transport (Abrahamsberg and Skogskyrkogården). We are an experienced team that is passionate about our target group.
About the role In the role of housing supporter, you will start from the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life based on a pedagogical approach.
At the support housing, we offer assistance to manage everyday tasks. We can support and guide in areas such as cleaning, laundry, getting up in the morning, and other household chores.
We provide support in making a weekly plan to achieve better structure and clarity in daily life. Staff are available to provide support and reminders, but participation is required to make daily life function as well as possible.
The staff are also there as adult support and guidance in life. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call.
You will have a group manager and unit manager close to you.
Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a 2-year post-secondary education with a degree as a treatment assistant, social pedagogue, or treatment pedagogue. The position requires you to have a driver's license. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience in documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and provide opportunities for growth.
You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in teams and individually, as well as supporting your colleagues, always keeping our youth's best interests at the forefront of everything you do.
At Nytida, we are in constant development. With us, you can grow as a person while making a difference for others. Our culture is permeated by our values – respect, responsibility, simplicity, and knowledge.
This is what you get with us:
Basic training when you are permanently employed within Nytida and professional development through our own training organization Lära
