The City Service Administration has an important and exciting mission to deliver, coordinate, and develop services for residents and administrations in the city of Mölndal. The administration has about 550 employees and is organized into four areas of operation: meals and local care, water and recycling, city maintenance, and staff and customer service.

The City Maintenance department has about 150 employees who manage the operation, maintenance, and development of the municipality's public environments. We are responsible for properties, streets, parks, and green areas as well as other areas both indoors and outdoors. Through our work, we contribute to a clean, safe, and pleasant city for residents and visitors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a park worker in the city of Mölndal during the summer. Your main tasks will be to weed flower beds, clean, and maintain swimming areas in the municipality.

You should be able to work at least six weeks during the period of June to August. The possibility of vacation leave during the summer is limited as temporary staff will cover for regular staff's vacation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with green space maintenance. If you are studying in the field of parks, landscaping, gardening, or equivalent, this is an advantage.

Since the work is carried out outdoors, you must enjoy being outside in both rain and sun. It can sometimes be physically demanding and requires good physical condition.

As a person, you are proactive, responsible, and have a good attitude. You should be able to work independently as well as collaborate in a team. To be eligible for the position, you also need to be at least 18 years old and have a B driver's license.
