The City Service Administration has an important and exciting mission to deliver, coordinate, and develop services for residents and administrations in Mölndal. The administration has about 550 employees and is organized into four operational areas: meals and cleaning, water and recycling, city maintenance, and support and customer service.

The City Maintenance department has about 150 employees who manage the operation, maintenance, and development of the municipality's public environments. We are responsible for properties, streets, parks, and green areas, as well as other areas both indoors and outdoors. Through our work, we contribute to a clean, safe, and pleasant city for residents and visitors.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a park worker in Mölndal during the summer season. Your main tasks will be to limit and combat invasive species.

The season runs from the beginning of April to the end of September. The possibility of vacation during this period is limited as seasonal staff will cover for regular staff on vacation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is at least 18 years old and has gardening education and/or equivalent experience. A B driver's license is required.

Since the work is carried out outdoors, you must enjoy being outside in both sun and rain. The work can be physically demanding and therefore requires you to have good physical fitness and condition.

As a person, you need to be proactive, responsible, and have a good attitude towards others. You should have the ability to collaborate in a group but also take a significant individual responsibility.
