We are now looking for a strategic buyer with an interest in procurement of complex property-related services, communication services, training services, and other services and products to strengthen our ability to deliver on our mission.

Svenska kraftnät is one of the key players in a sustainable energy transition. As a strategic buyer, you will be offered one of Sweden's most important purchasing jobs, where you will contribute to Sweden's electricity supply every day. Svenska kraftnät is currently in an expansive phase characterized by large investments aimed at expanding and renewing Sweden's electricity grid to meet the energy transition. This also includes establishments in more locations in Sweden and the need for expanded office space, which includes a new headquarters in Stockholm.

The procurement function is organizationally placed within the division of shared functions, which supports the entire business. The division also includes communication, HR, legal department, security and preparedness, property and sustainability, as well as the procurement department.

About the Position

In the role of strategic buyer, you will drive the entire procurement process from setting procurement strategy, deciding on procurement procedures, developing and quality assuring tender documents, evaluation and negotiation to awarding and leading the contract signing process.

The position will also include:

• Developing working methods, routines, and templates.
• Supporting and contributing to Svenska kraftnät's strategic category and supplier management.
• Identifying, analyzing, and developing the supplier market.
• Providing support to the business in matters related to contract management.
• Assisting the business in various procurement-related matters.

The role involves close collaboration with orderers in the business as well as other support functions such as legal, security, and sustainability. You will have the opportunity to develop within procurement, and there are great opportunities for personal development within Svenska kraftnät as well as exchanging experiences with colleagues who have worked in the industry for a long time.

Managers and employees within the procurement department actively work on change initiatives to continuously develop the procurement operations characterized by inclusion, team spirit, openness, and collegial atmosphere.

As a strategic buyer, you belong to the procurement department, unit IT and Indirect. The department currently consists of about 45 employees who work with procurement of both contracts, indirect materials, consultants, IT, and electricity market. The unit IT and Indirect consists of 8 people.

About You

Requirements:

Personal Characteristics:

You are relationship-building both internally and externally and have a high ability to collaborate. You act commercially in your decisions and in your advice to the orderer and are attentive to the orderer's needs. You have a holistic view of the business and a strong personal drive and ability to deliver on time and meet set goals. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Education:

You have a university degree in economics, law, or engineering or equivalent competence acquired in another way.

Additionally, you have:

• At least 2 years of business experience in strategic purchasing and procurement.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.

Meritorious:

• Experience in procurement of property-related services.
• Knowledge and experience of LUF/LOU.
• Experience in negotiation and supplier development.

• The position is located in Sundbyberg.
• Possibility for remote work up to 50% but may vary depending on work requirements.
• Travel may occur in this position.
