Nynäshamn Guest Harbor is one of the largest guest harbors on the east coast, with more than 300 guest spots, located in the heart of Nynäshamn. Job Responsibilities

As a harbor host, you play an important role in the guests' experience in Nynäshamn municipality. Your role includes welcoming and receiving boat guests upon arrival and departure, and being a present and service-oriented contact during their stay. You are also responsible for informing about the harbor's rules and functions, as well as maintaining order, upkeep, and creating a pleasant environment in the harbor area. You provide boat guests and visitors with current information about the destination, the municipality's attractions, and various experiences the area has to offer. Together with your colleagues, you work to ensure a welcoming atmosphere and world-class service for everyone visiting the guest harbor.

We are looking for about ten harbor hosts. The position is a seasonal employment and includes day, evening, and some weekend shifts.

About the Workplace

The mission of the Business and Labor Market Administration is to strengthen Nynäshamn municipality as an attractive place for entrepreneurs. We meet the need for skills by offering training for young people and adults at Nynäshamn High School and Campus Nynäshamn. We also work to increase opportunities for people who are far from the labor market to establish themselves or return to work.

Nynäshamn Guest Harbor with tourist information is part of the business department, which among other things has the task of strengthening Nynäshamn as a tourist destination by operating the guest harbor and providing tourist information.

As a harbor host, you will have a varied and meaningful job with great value for the destination's visitors. We collaborate closely with internal and external actors, creating a dynamic and stimulating work environment.

What We Are Looking For in You

To succeed in the role, you have/are:

• very good knowledge of Swedish and English
• swimming skills (200 meters breaststroke)

It is an advantage if you have:

• leadership experience from, for example, associations
• boating experience
• harbor experience
• knowledge of lifesaving and CPR
• knowledge of one or more of the Nordic languages, Finnish and/or German
