This position is an opportunity for you who want to help transform SRV from a traditional recycling company to a modern service company. About the position
Do you want to be a key player in the transition to a more sustainable future? SRV is now looking for three driven salespeople who want to help develop our business in Södertörn. You will be involved in the creation and establishment of a new section within sales in the Customer and Market department.
As a salesperson at SRV, you work with sales that make a difference. In this role, you combine business acumen with consulting and help customers develop their waste and recycling management in a more sustainable direction. It’s about understanding the customer’s business, identifying improvement potential, and translating it into long-term solutions that create both customer value and environmental benefits.
You work closely with the customer on issues related to sorting, material flows, and solution choices, with the goal of increasing recycling, reducing residual waste, and creating long-term business benefits.
The role is relationship-driven and long-term, but at the same time clearly goal-oriented. You take responsibility for the entire business and are an active part of building SRV's sales organization.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Drive the entire sales process from first contact to contract
- Work goal-oriented with both new and existing customers
- Build and develop long-term and trusting customer relationships
- Advise customers on sustainable waste and recycling solutions
- Contribute to customers improving their material flows and achieving their sustainability goals
- Collaborate with the operational business to ensure functioning solutions
- Contribute to the development of working methods, structure, and offerings within sales

We are looking for someone who is driven, engaged, and goal-oriented, but at the same time is confident, attentive, and trustworthy in customer interactions. You thrive in a consulting and relationship-building role where business develops over time and where quality and long-term thinking are crucial.
You are self-sufficient, responsible, and comfortable in an evolving environment. You have a professional approach, a strong service mindset, and the ability to build trust even in more complex customer dialogues.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have
- Completed high school education
- Several years of experience in qualified B2B sales
- Experience in consultative solution or service sales
- Ability to build long-term and trusting customer relationships
- Very good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
- A clear business drive and perseverance
- Driving license B
Experience from recycling, environment, real estate, energy, or related industries is a merit but not a requirement. Personality, business thinking, and trust-building working methods are crucial.

About SRV
SRV Recycling AB is a limited company owned by five municipalities in Södertörn: Huddinge, Haninge, Botkyrka, Salem, and Nynäshamn. The municipalities have tasked SRV with managing the collection and handling of household waste. The operations include the collection and processing of recyclable materials, fuel, and waste, as well as landfilling. We currently have about 270 employees and receive approximately 200,000 tons of waste each year, with a turnover of 552 million SEK (2023). SRV collects waste from about 154,000 households in the owner municipalities. The company also has 3,000 business and operational customers - ranging from small and large companies to housing associations, preschools, and organizations. SRV Recycling has a large recycling facility at Gladö Kvarn in Huddinge. The facility is the largest in Sweden by area. We also operate seven recycling centers, primarily for households, within the five owner municipalities.
